Why Give?

Help Us Transform Lives

1 in 5 children will experience a mental health condition by the time they reach adulthood. Many children and youth are experiencing anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and have trouble concentrating in school and at home. Each year we provide services to almost 3,000 children, youth and their families.

Our expert staff partner with the child and family, creating an individualized plan to provide care and treatment, community resources and support. Some of the families we serve don't have insurance or the extra funds to pay for vital services. Your support helps us make sure no child is ever turned away when they need help and treatment. Together, we can help transform the lives of children and families.

An Organization You Can Trust

Since 1953, PACES has been providing mental health services to children and families in Wyandotte County and surrounding areas. We are a trusted provider to families and our community. Through our sister organization Wyandot Center, PACES is licensed through the State of Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).

In 2020, PACES earned Accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF International, for children's case management and outpatient services. CARF Accreditation is the 'gold standard' for behavioral health organizations and reflects the unwavering commitment we have to quality, person-centered and culturally competent services.
